Sociology at Central Christian College of Kansas explores how individuals, groups, and institutions shape the world around us. This program helps students examine social behavior, cultural dynamics, and systems that influence opportunity, identity, and community life.

Students study topics such as social inequality, family systems, criminology, and cultural diversity, developing skills in research, data analysis, and critical thinking. Through discussion and real-world application, students learn to better understand complex social issues and the factors that impact communities.

Grounded in a Christ-centered perspective, Sociology emphasizes compassion, justice, and service to others. Graduates are prepared for careers in social services, community development, criminal justice, nonprofit work, and related fields, as well as for graduate study in sociology or the social sciences.
