Mass Media at Central Christian College of Kansas prepares students to understand, create, and critically engage with media in a fast-paced, digital world. This program explores how messages are produced, distributed, and consumed across platforms—including journalism, broadcasting, social media, and emerging technologies.
Students develop practical skills in writing, video production, digital storytelling, media analysis, and content strategy, while gaining hands-on experience through campus media, athletics, and real-world projects. The program emphasizes both creative expression and critical thinking, helping students become thoughtful producers and consumers of media.
Grounded in a Christ-centered perspective, Mass Media also focuses on ethical communication, truth-telling, and the responsibility that comes with shaping public perception.
