Mabee Foundation Awards $400,000 Grant to Central Christian College for New Student Housing
Central Christian College of Kansas is excited to announce the Mabee Foundation has approved a $400,000 challenge grant to support the development of new student housing on campus. This extraordinary gift reflects the faithfulness of God and the power of collective prayer from our community, propelling us closer to meeting the growing needs of our diverse and vibrant student body.
This challenge grant marks a significant milestone in our $2 million fundraising campaign. With funds already raised, pledged, and the addition of this grant, the College is now just over $200,000 away from fully funding this transformative project.
The new student housing will provide more than just living space—it will create an environment where students can thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. These updated facilities will serve as a welcoming home for students, fostering growth, connection, and a sense of belonging within our campus community.
While we celebrate this incredible milestone, there is still work to be done. We invite our supporters to prayerfully consider how they can contribute to the completion of this initiative. Whether through financial gifts, sharing our mission, or offering innovative ideas, every effort plays a critical role in achieving our goal.
Since its founding in 1948, the Mabee Foundation has awarded over $1.6 billion in grants to support transformative projects across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kansas. Their generous support exclusively funds capital expenditures, ensuring impactful advancements in the communities they serve.
Together, with faith and determination, we look forward to completing this vital initiative that will pave the way for generations of Central Christian College students to flourish.
