Celebrate Central at Homecoming 2020
Central Christian College of Kansas is pleased to announce Homecoming 2020 coming this October 2-4. This year’s theme is Celebrate Central. The college has many reasons to celebrate in 2020 and looking forward to highlighting many of them in October.
The last several years have seen a relaunch of the annual homecoming festivities. Featuring nearly 1000 alumni and guests on campus during the weekends. Last years’ celebration highlighted the Inauguration of President Dr. Leonard Favara, the revamp of the Central Spotlight Coronation & music concert, as well as a new highlight for many attenders the art department open house.
The college is looking to build on this momentum, and this year the weekend will feature many of the annual beloved events like the Central Music Spotlight, alumni athletic games, and the basketball program’s late-night madness. This year we will also see renewed energy at the numerous athletic fall athletic events and an expanded offering of alumni class reunions. A full schedule and registration will be available later this spring on the events calendar and on the foundation website.
The college has already committed to hosting six alumni reunions. This year we are celebrating the classes of 1970, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2015! If you are alumni of one of these years and would like to host your reunion please email, Adriane Carr, Alumni Director at adriane.carr@centralchristian.edu. As host, we ask only that you are committed to registering and attending Homecoming, working with alumni relations to help spread the word and we’ll take care of the rest!
