Alumni Obituary – Julie Schamehorn

Redlands, California – It is with sadness that Earl Ross Schamehorn Sr. (WS ’51) announces the passing of his wife of 65 years, Julie A. (Larson) Schamehorn (WS ’51). A graduate of Wessington Springs, Julie Schamehorn passed on to her heavenly reward on October 25th, 2020 at the age of 89.

Julie was a retired teacher. Following her time at Wessington Springs, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s of Science in Education from Greenville College.

Julie and her husband, Earl, had two children: Earl Schamehorn Jr. and Kevin Schamehorn.
