FACILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess at least some formal course work/years of experience in
the electrical, plumbing, or H.V.A.C field (possessing or working
toward a Journeyman’s or Master’s license beneficial).
- Able to assist in at least one of the trade fields AND assist the
facilities management team in general maintenance.
- Agree with and enthusiastically support the College’s mission.
- Good people skills with a demonstrated ability to work with
others.
- Ability to work with and relate to administrative, faculty, and
staff colleagues, as well as residential college students, in a small,
Christian, four-year college environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the appearance, operation, and upkeep of the facilities
as directed.
- Participate in projects and complete daily work orders as
assigned.
- Model proper and appropriate work habits.
- Assist with occasional demands such as snow removal and special
weekends.
- Perform other task and duties as may be assigned by the Director
of Facilities.
INSTITUTIONAL INFORMATION:
- The College maintains 13 buildings on approximately 20 acres.
- The College educates students from an evangelical, Christian
worldview.
- The College has a current student enrollment of approximately 325.
