Central Christian College makes on-campus jobs available to students. Our experience shows that a student can earn up to $1,600 during the 9-month school year by working 6-7 hours per week. Students receive the federal minimum wage. Funds will be disbursed only in relation to hours worked, every four weeks.  Applications for campus employment and the work study program will be sent to students before school begins.

An off-campus employment service is maintained by the College.  Off-campus jobs usually require three hours daily in a single block of time. Obviously, the decision to seek such employment should be weighed carefully for its effect on a student's academic achievement and activity involvement.

If you have any questions, please stop by the Financial Aid Office between 8 a.m. - 3 p.m., and I'll be happy to help you.

  • It is up to you to contact the supervisor of your desired job.
  • If the supervisor hires you, please inform the financial aid office and you will be given a verification form. You AND your supervisor will then complete the verification form together and return it to the office.
  • There will be one more paper, an I-9 form, for you to complete (painless - I promise). The I-9 REQUIRES me to see your ACTUAL driver's license AND social security card. PLEASE BRING THEM WITH YOU TO COMPLETE THE FORM!!! NO PHOTOCOPIES.
  • If you don't have these documents, call and we will inform you as to what other documents are acceptable.

Time Sheets are to be filled out for each week of work.  They are available from your supervisor or in the Business Office.

ALL TIME SHEETS MUST BE COMPLETE!  A completed time sheet will show the following:

  • Your Name - printed at the top right
  • Week Ending Date - upper left
  • Your signature - lower left
  • Your Supervisor’s Signature - lower right

The work week always begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday.  Therefore, the “Week Ending Date” is always the Saturday date of each week.  Time In and Time Out is to be recorded each time you work.  Circle AM or PM.  Please round to the nearest quarter hour. (ie. 9:15, 10:30)

Time Sheets must be turned in to the Business Office by 5:00 PM on Monday following each week of work.  PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to dock one hour of work from any time sheet turned in after the 5:00 PM Monday deadline.  It is your responsibility to turn your time sheets in, NOT your supervisors.

All Time sheets are to be turned in to the Business Office (Science Hall, first floor).  Put them in the top file tray to the right of the counter.  If the office is locked, slide them under the door.

There will be nine pay periods during the school year as listed below.  These pay periods come at four week intervals and are not necessarily on a monthly basis.
